And the mind starts to believe them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So next time you&#8217;re relaxed, or even the next time you look at your reflection, try one or two positive affirmations.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Feel free to make up your own affirmations, ones that are unique to you, however, if you&#8217;re looking at some to begin, try the following: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>I am strong enough to get through this hardship.<\/li><li>I have the skills and abilities to handle this difficult situation.<\/li><li>I am accepting of my uncomfortable feelings.<\/li><li>I believe in myself and can achieve my goals.<\/li><li>I am confident and ready to start the day.<\/li><li>I am learning more every day, viewing setbacks as opportunities for growth.<\/li><li>I trust myself and follow my instincts.<\/li><li>I am becoming a better version of myself each day.<\/li><li>I choose positivity, even when negative thoughts try to creep in.<\/li><li>I deserve love and respect.<\/li><li>I am valuable and contribute to the world around me.<\/li><li>I am powerful and capable of success.<\/li><li>I have everything I need right now.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;ve all been there, the critical, self-deprecating thoughts start to whirl around the mind.
